Protecting your data matters to us. This page explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data?
Anaztech LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Email: contact@anaztech.com.
What data do we collect?
- When you use the contact form: your name, your email address, the name of your company if you give it, the topic you choose and your message.
- When you book a meeting: your name, your email address, your answers to the booking form (for the scoping workshop, the name of your company and a few words about your project; your notes and your guests’ email addresses if you add any), the date and time you choose, and your time zone.
- When you email us: the information contained in your message.
- When you visit the website: no advertising tracking or audience measurement data. Your browser only keeps your theme and language preferences, and Cal.com’s technical cookies if you open the booking calendar (see the Cookies page).
The contact form
The message you send with the form reaches us by email, at contact@anaztech.com. At the same time, you receive a summary of your message at the email address you entered.
These emails are kept in our mailbox, hosted in France by Obambu SARL.
To protect the form against abuse, we also use the IP address of your connection, only to limit the number of messages sent in a short time. We do not store it as such: only a hashed fingerprint of it is kept, then deleted within 24 hours. As on any website, the technical logs of our host also keep the IP addresses of connections for a limited time, for the security of the service.
Booking a meeting
Meetings are booked with Cal.com, a service of the company Cal.com, Inc., in the United States. The calendar only loads if you ask for it, by choosing a type of meeting or clicking “Show available times”: until then, nothing is sent to Cal.com.
As soon as the calendar appears, Cal.com receives the IP address of your connection and technical information about your browser, which it needs to show the available times and to protect its service. It also sets technical cookies, described on the Cookies page. The error-tracking service used by Cal.com (Sentry, in the United States) is contacted too.
When you book, Cal.com records the meeting and your answers to the form, then sends you the confirmation email. The meeting is added to our Google calendar, with the Google Meet video call link: Google then receives your name and email address, as with any invitation.
Cal.com processes this data on our behalf, as a processor.
Why do we use your data?
- To organise and prepare the conversation you asked for;
- To answer your questions and, if you wish, send you a proposal;
- To send you the summary of the message you send us with the contact form;
- To protect that form against abuse;
- To meet our legal obligations.
This processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive and protecting the website against abuse (Articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Who has access to it?
Only our team, and the technical providers that the service needs:
- Cal.com, Inc., for booking meetings, in the United States;
- Google, for our calendar and Google Meet video calls, in the United States;
- Obambu SARL, for hosting the website and our mailbox, in France.
We never sell your data.
Transfers outside the European Union
Cal.com and Google are based in the United States. The information sent when you open the calendar and when you book a meeting is transferred there. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
How long do we keep it?
- Contact form messages, enquiries and meetings that do not lead to a contract: 3 years after our last exchange;
- Hashed fingerprint of the IP address, used against abuse: deleted within 24 hours;
- Client data: for the whole relationship, then for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to its use or retrieve it. Write to us at contact@anaztech.com.
You can also contact the data protection authority of your country, for example the CNIL in France or the OAIC in Australia.
